Tarquimpol · Moselle · Grand Est

The House of the Land of Ponds is a cultural and museum space located in Tarquimpol in Moselle. Its exhibition route traces the history of the village, marked by its Gallo-Roman past, when the site hosted theaters, thermal baths and other buildings that have since disappeared. The museum is set in a natural environment characterized by the ponds that border the region, recognized as a privileged reserve for birdlife with more than two hundred recorded species. Beyond its museum function, the establishment offers multipurpose rooms intended for welcoming groups, schools and organizing events, complemented by a restaurant and a tearoom called Bistrot des Oiseaux. The site is open to the public from Thursday to Sunday, while groups are received by appointment on other days.
