The Charles de Gaulle Memorial, located in Colombey-les-Deux-Églises in Haute-Marne, is a place of remembrance dedicated to the life and legacy of General Charles de Gaulle. The facility offers a permanent exhibition of 2,000 m² designed as an educational tool to discover 20th century history through the General's political and personal journey. The site includes a visit to La Boisserie, the General's family home he shared with his wife Yvonne de Gaulle, as well as the Lorraine Cross overlooking the hill. The Memorial hosts temporary exhibitions and organizes activities suited to different audiences: adult groups, school groups, and professionals. Since its opening in 2008, the site has welcomed over one million visitors.
