Centre Abbé Fouré

The Abbé Fouré Centre is a museum dedicated to the work and life of Abbé Fouré, a hermit of Rothéneuf, located in Saint-Malo in Brittany. It presents the sculptures created by Abbé Fouré, notably his sculpted rocks, as well as documents and illuminated manuscripts relating to his journey. The centre is also an interpretation space dedicated to Art Brut, an artistic movement of which Abbé Fouré is considered a founding figure. The association Les Amis de l'œuvre de l'Abbé Fouré, which manages the site, offers temporary exhibitions, themed walks and educational activities. The centre is committed to transmitting and promoting this singular cultural heritage, embedded in the coastal landscape of Rothéneuf.
