PHONO Museum Paris is a museum dedicated to the history of recorded sound, from its origins in 1857 to the present day. Managed by the Phonoplanète association and operating largely thanks to volunteers, it traces the great technological and cultural adventure of sound recording. Located at 53, boulevard de Rochechouart in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, the museum hosts exhibitions, concerts and conferences. Its activities also extend to the dissemination of educational content and digital and printed publications. The museum relies on the support of its visitors and donors to ensure its operation.
