Musée national d’Art moderne
Paris · Paris · Île-de-France
The National Museum of Modern Art, located at the Georges Pompidou National Center for Art and Culture in Paris, is a major institution of modern and contemporary art. It preserves collections covering paintings, drawings, sculptures, illustrated books, textiles and stained glass, with landmark works of artistic modernity. Currently closed to the public due to renovation of its emblematic building planned until 2030, the museum continues its activities through the Constellation program, which decentralizes exhibitions and events through partners in France and internationally. The Kandinsky Library, audiovisual archives and educational resources also constitute major services of the institution.
