The Rural Wagonry Museum is housed in a former church in the village of Salmiech, in Ségala, a region historically dedicated to rye cultivation. Listed as a historic monument, it presents collections devoted to rural wagonry and traditional local craftsmanship. The permanent exhibition explores in particular the history and manufacture of the wheel, as well as aspects of rural daily life. Located approximately 25 kilometers from Rodez, in Aveyron, the museum welcomes visitors in July and August according to regular hours, and by appointment for the rest of the year.
