The Shoe Crafts Museum is located in a former shoe factory in Sèvremonie, in Maine-et-Loire. It documents the industrial expertise that marked the history of the Mauges and Choletais regions. The permanent collections feature manufacturing machinery, some of which is over a hundred years old, as well as a collection of shoes illustrating the evolution of styles and techniques. Interactive terminals complement the exhibition by explaining the manufacturing steps. The museum also offers temporary exhibitions, including one dedicated to shoes adapted to aquatic environments.
