Musée des Fours Banaux

The Museum of Common Ovens is located in Vierzon, in Cher, at the foot of the city's Belfry. It houses two ovens dating from the 15th century, remarkable and unique architectural elements in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Its collections include a model of Vierzon in the Middle Ages, the clocks of the Belfry from the 15th and 19th centuries, as well as statues of the Evangelist Saints from the 15th century. The museum also offers educational visits, individual and guided tours lasting an average of 45 minutes. It is accessible by appointment year-round and welcomes animals.
