The Vierzon Museum is housed in a former industrial building on the site of the French-CASE Company, which was a major center for agricultural machinery production in the 19th and 20th centuries. It presents collections documenting the industrial and railway history of the city: porcelain, glass, flashed stoneware, ready-made clothing, as well as an important collection relating to the history of railways in France. The exhibition space of over 600 m², with thematic presentations that are regularly updated, traces the development of various local industries: agricultural machinery, ceramics, glassmaking and clothing manufacturing. The museum is located in the heart of a remarkable site, between Vierzon station and the Berry Canal, close to the city center. Since 2010, it has also been supporting a project to collect working-class memories in partnership with the University of Tours.
