The Angoulême Museum is located in Charente and is part of the MAAM (Angoulême Museums and Municipal Archives), a group of four cultural sites. It preserves an extensive collection spanning a period from the Jurassic era to the 20th century and originating from several continents. The museum shares its mission with the Municipal Archives, the Artothèque, and the Paper Museum, thus forming a heritage center dedicated to the preservation, study, and promotion of Angoulême's heritage to all audiences. This museum structure offers visit itineraries, temporary exhibitions, and educational activities accessible to different types of visitors.
