The Cotentin Knowledge Museum is a local history museum located in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, in Manche. Its collections are housed in the buildings of a former 19th-century farm, preserving the traditional architecture of the Coutances region. The museum evokes rural life of yesteryear and preserves the memory of the Royal Glass Manufactory of Tourlaville, an establishment that brought fame to the region through the expertise of its master glassmakers. Run by a team of volunteers, the museum offers a visit designed as a historical journey through different thematic rooms. The establishment operates on a seasonal calendar, with winter closures.
