La Baule-Escoublac · Loire-Atlantique · Pays de la Loire

The Aéronautique Presqu'île Côte d'Amour Museum (MAPICA) is an association dedicated to the restoration and preservation of French aeronautical heritage, founded in 1980. Located at the La Baule-Escoublac aerodrome in Loire-Atlantique, the museum displays around twenty restored aircraft that bear witness to the history of French aviation. Its operation relies on the commitment of about thirty passionate volunteers who ensure the restoration of the aircraft and welcome visitors. The museum offers guided tours, a flight simulator, and a shop. Hours vary by season: from September to June, the museum is open from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday; in July and August, it is open daily at the same times.
