The Frac Poitou-Charentes is a regional contemporary art fund located in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, with a site in Angoulême in Charente. A public institution with free access, it presents contemporary art exhibitions and runs an active program combining guided tours, workshops and territorial projects. The museum develops a varied mediation approach intended for all audiences, in partnership with local authorities. It relies on a contemporary art collection enhanced by sound mediation devices and artist residencies. The Frac currently occupies a temporary site and announces an institutional transition for spring 2025.
