Château de Saint Germain de Livet

The Château de Saint-Germain de Livet is a building listed as a historic monument, located in Normandy near Lisieux in Calvados. Dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, it is distinguished by its architecture characteristic of the Pays d'Auge region, combining a half-timbered manor with a construction of stone and glazed brick. Surrounded by moats and nestled in a verdant landscape setting, the château offers a synthesis of the constructive techniques of the Norman territory. Organized as a museum by the Lisieux Normandie Agglomeration Community, the site is currently accessible to visitors through its gardens and architectural perspectives, with the interiors undergoing restoration.
