Located in the Andalusian region of southern Spain, this archaeological site comprises a group of megalithic monuments dating to the Neolithic and Bronze Age periods. The site consists of three major dolmens—chamber tombs constructed from large stone slabs—that represent significant examples of megalithic funerary architecture in the Iberian Peninsula. These monuments showcase the architectural and constructive knowledge of prehistoric communities, featuring corbelled chambers and impressive entrance passages built from massive stone blocks. The dolmens are situated in a landscape characteristic of the Antequera region, with the monuments positioned to align with natural geographical features and celestial events. The site provides important archaeological evidence regarding burial practices, social organization, and cultural development in prehistoric Europe, contributing to the understanding of megalithic traditions across the continent.
