Villa Charpentier is the house and studio of sculptor Félix Charpentier (1858-1924), built in 1897 in Chassant in Eure-et-Loir. Preserved by the same family since its foundation and labeled "Maisons des Illustres" in 2022, it offers an immersion into the Belle Époque world of an artist recognized at the Salon des Artistes Français. The site comprises the sculptor's studio, the residential dwelling, and a wooded park of two hectares. The villa also bears witness to three generations of artists: Félix's daughter Francine, a talented sculptress married to Italian painter Cesare Bacchi, and his grandson Félix Bacchi, who distinguished himself in the crafting of astronomical mirrors. Guided visits by reservation allow visitors to discover the living and creative spaces as well as family collections.
