Senonches Castle, listed as a Historic Monument, houses an interpretation center dedicated to the forest and mankind. Located in the Perche eurélien region of Eure-et-Loir, near Chartres and Paris, the museum offers a permanent exhibition entitled "Forest of Stories" organized around several thematic levels: forest geography and ecology, local history, and contemporary wood industry. The visit, designed in an interactive and educational manner, invites visitors to discover the ecosystem of Senonches state forest through sensory experiences and informative content. The castle also hosts temporary exhibitions and varied cultural activities throughout the year.
