Paléospace is a paleontological museum located in Villers-sur-Mer, in Calvados, in Normandy. It is established on a site of geological importance, that of the Falaises des Vaches Noires cliffs, a major paleontological deposit. The museum organizes its collections and exhibitions around three thematic axes: Jurassic paleontology in Normandy, the discovery of dinosaurs and prehistoric species, as well as astronomy and a planetarium. It also offers virtual reality experiences allowing visitors to encounter specimens from the Cretaceous seabed. Paléospace is intended for all audiences, with educational activities designed for school groups, leisure centers and adult groups, complemented by guided tours in the museum or outdoors.
