Musée
Médan · Yvelines · Île-de-France
The Zola-Dreyfus Museum is located in Médan in Yvelines. It combines Émile Zola's house and a museum dedicated to Alfred Dreyfus, two figures linked by their shared commitment to truth and justice. Zola's house, restored and open to the public by reservation, allows visitors to discover the writer's private life and the conditions of his daily work. The Dreyfus Museum addresses the Dreyfus Affair by exploring its roots and contemporary issues: antisemitism, racism, the functioning of justice, the role of the media, and the place of intellectuals in democracy. The institution pursues an essentially educational mission, intended in particular for younger generations.
