The Living Museum of Old Trades is a local history museum located in Argol, in the Crozon peninsula in Finistère. Run by an association of volunteers, it offers a participatory approach to traditional Breton trades and activities, combining practical demonstrations and permanent workshops. The site comprises several thematic spaces: a forge, weaving, wood turning, processing of raw materials (flax, wool, cereals), as well as old kitchens allowing for culinary demonstrations. The museum operates on a seasonal calendar, open from April to October, and welcomes groups and school classes by reservation. The establishment prioritizes sensory immersion and direct exchange with the facilitators, combining observation, tastings, and participation in age-old practices.
