Rosa Bonheur's Castle, located in Thomery in Seine-et-Marne, is an artist's house museum dedicated to animal painter Rosa Bonheur. The site preserves the artist's studio with her paintings, painting materials, and personal belongings, offering an insight into her life and work in the 19th century. The castle sits on a park of nearly four hectares decorated with roses and various plants, complemented by an 18th-century pavilion. Beyond the museum visit, the site offers a tea room, guest rooms, and hosts temporary exhibitions and cultural events. Access to the museum is subject to mandatory reservation. The castle and its collections are managed by an association dedicated to the conservation and promotion of Rosa Bonheur's heritage.
