The Provençal Museum is a regional ethnography museum located since 1928 in the Château-Gombert castle in Marseille. It is the second most important ethnography museum in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region after the Museon Arlaten. Its collections cover domestic life and Provençal popular arts and traditions from the 17th century to the present day, through furniture, earthenware, textiles, costumes, sacred art and agricultural tools. The museum also has a library open to researchers and an open-air theater that hosts cultural and solidarity events.
