Musée Grobet-Labadié

Marseille · Bouches-du-Rhône · Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

The Grobet-Labadié Museum is housed in a 19th-century private mansion located on Boulevard Longchamp in Marseille. It preserves the collections of a family of Marseille merchants from the local bourgeoisie, assembled and enriched notably after 1848. The collections span several fields: paintings, decorative art objects, musical instruments, furniture and tapestries. Among the remarkable collections are works of Provençal painting, Regency-style furniture and various decorative pieces. The establishment is currently closed. Admission is free for under-eighteens and on the first Sundays of the month.
