The Escoffier Museum of Culinary Art is located in the birthplace of Auguste Escoffier, an authentic 18th-century Provençal house situated in Villeneuve-Loubet, between Nice and Cannes. Founded in 1966 at the initiative of Joseph Donon, a disciple of the famous master chef, it is the only culinary art museum in France. Managed by the Auguste Escoffier Foundation, recognized as a public utility organization, the museum bears witness to the life and work of Auguste Escoffier, a major figure in gastronomy at the end of the 19th century. Recently labeled "Maisons des Illustres," it allows visitors to discover the world of French cuisine and the chef's influence through its collections. The museum offers activities for children and welcomes visitors year-round.
