The Touquet-Paris-Plage - Édouard Champion Museum, founded in 1932, is located in the heart of the forest of Touquet-Paris-Plage in Pas-de-Calais. Housed in the Way Side villa, an Anglo-Norman style building dating from 1925, the museum offers a unique journey through the collections of the Étaples School, photographic portraits of early 20th-century celebrities, and artistic testimonies of local history. Its permanent collections include a body of modern and contemporary art spanning from the late 19th century to the present day, with particular emphasis placed on works by French artists from the 1950s to 1970s. The museum alternates between presenting its permanent collection, accompanied by thematic displays, and temporary exhibitions dedicated to major figures in contemporary French painting. It also offers regular activities: guided tours, workshops, meetings, and artistic projects, designed for all audiences.
