Located in Lavelanet in Ariège, the Museum of Textiles and Horn Combs occupies the premises of a former factory, preserving the industrial atmosphere of the Pays d'Olmes. It traces the stages of fabric manufacturing from the Middle Ages to the present day: wool spinning, dyeing, weaving on hand and mechanical looms, as well as the production of horn combs. The tour combines exhibition spaces, demonstration workshops and presentation of tools and machinery, illustrating the evolution of craft and industrial techniques. The museum offers free and guided visits, adapted for individuals, adult groups and school groups, with translations in English and Spanish.
