The Museum of Leather and Tanning in Château-Renault, located in Indre-et-Loire, is dedicated to the history and techniques of leather transformation. Housed in the former Tenneson tannery, dating from the 16th century, the museum presents the different stages of leather manufacturing according to traditional methods. Through its collections, the museum traces the complex journey of skin until the obtainment of finished leather.
