Noizay · Indre-et-Loire · Centre-Val de Loire
Grand Coteau is a 16th-century residence located in Noizay, in Indre-et-Loire, in the Loire Valley. Listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments, it is associated with composer Francis Poulenc, who composed his major works there from 1927 onwards. The property includes a French formal garden terraced overlooking the vineyards of the Vouvray AOC, as well as a wine cellar. Open to the public since July 2019, the museum welcomes visitors during defined periods in summer and autumn.
