Musée des Métiers de St Laurent de la Plaine en Anjou

The Museum of Trades is located in Saint-Laurent-de-la-Plaine, in Mauges-sur-Loire (Maine-et-Loire). Since 1970, it has displayed its collections over approximately 5,000 m² spread across buildings of typical Angevin architecture. The museum presents more than 17,000 objects documenting more than thirty craft trades as well as elements of daily life in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its thematic spaces include notably a room of presses, a room of stills, an attic and a room dedicated to grain and bread. The museum offers guided tours, workshops and family activities, with specific reception for groups.
