The Museum of the Americas is located in Auch, in the Gers department, in the Occitanie region. Housed in the former Jacobin convent, it operates as a national reference center. It holds the second collection of pre-Columbian art in France, complemented by remarkable collections covering Antiquity, the Middle Ages, Gascony and fine arts, including works by Gascon painters, ancient statues and medieval bas-reliefs. The museum offers guided tours, educational workshops and a program of temporary and permanent exhibitions designed for school groups, families and tour groups.
