The departmental museum of lighthouses and beacons is located on the island of Ouessant, in Finistère, in rural Brittany. It has been labeled since 2003 under the Heritage Code. Established in a lighthouse converted into a museum, the facility is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the heritage of lighthouses and beacons, which are structuring elements of the region's maritime history. The museum is part of the network of departmental estates and museums of Finistère and offers various visit activities adapted for family, school, and adult audiences.
