The Museum of Breton Resistance is a site museum located in Saint-Marcel, in Morbihan, in a rural area of Brittany. It is classified under the Heritage Code. As a site museum, it is part of an approach to enhance local and regional historical heritage, in direct connection with its geographical environment. The museum is dedicated to the history of the Resistance in Brittany, a major theme of the territory during the Second World War. It constitutes a place of memory and transmission of historical testimonies, rooted in Breton identity.
