The Press Museum of Ploemeur, located in Morbihan in Brittany, is a history museum dedicated to press archives. Created and run by Claude Charbonneau, it houses approximately 80,000 archive pieces covering the period from 1789 to the present day, including daily newspapers, regional and departmental weeklies, French and foreign publications. The museum also offers a local history library available to visitors. Documents can be consulted free of charge on site, during regular hours (Wednesday and Saturday afternoons) or by appointment as needed. The museum also has audiovisual documents presenting the history of the twentieth century.
