The Raymond Touchard Museum of Prehistory, located in Lussac-les-Châteaux in Vienne, is a museum dedicated to Prehistory. The permanent exhibition traces the life of the peoples of the Lussacois region during the Paleolithic period, exploring their environment, way of life, and technical and artistic practices, notably a remarkable engraving art. The museum is organized around four museum spaces complemented by an outdoor route to local prehistoric sites, dating back approximately 14,000 years. It offers educational workshops, guided tours, and free mobile applications, as well as accessibility features including translation into French Sign Language.
