The Music Museum, located in Paris in Île-de-France, is. It brings together a collection of more than 8,000 instruments and art objects, of which approximately 1,000 are presented in the permanent exhibition space. This collection traces the history of Western music from the 16th century to the present day and offers an overview of the world's major musical cultures. Beyond its permanent collection, the museum offers temporary exhibitions exploring themes at the intersection of artistic disciplines and geographic regions. Its activities are enriched by a multitude of events: guided tours, workshops, concerts, symposiums and meetings that extend the visiting experience and are part of the broader programming of the Philharmonie de Paris.
