Musée de la Lumière et de la Matière

The Museum of Light and Matter – ACO Sciences, located in Bures-sur-Yvette in Essonne, is dedicated to the history of particle physics and accelerators. The museum is organized around the ACO accelerator, Europe's first colliding ring and ancestor of the SOLEIL synchrotron, which enabled the worldwide observation of electron-positron annihilation.
