Musée
Paris · Paris · Île-de-France

The Museum of the Grand Lodge of France is located in the heart of a historic private mansion situated in Paris. It presents the history, symbols and practices of freemasonry through works of art, objects and historical documents spanning from the 18th century to the present day. The collections trace the history of the Grand Lodge of France and help shed light on the realities of this institution, deconstructing common misconceptions often associated with freemasonry. Guided visits, lasting approximately one hour and thirty minutes, provide access to the museum spaces, an emblematic masonic temple generally closed to the public, and the bookstore. Reservations are mandatory and self-guided visits are not offered.
