Paris · Paris · Île-de-France

The Nissim de Camondo Museum is an early twentieth-century mansion located on the edge of Monceau Park, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Built between 1911 and 1914, it recreates an eighteenth-century aristocratic residence housing the collections of Moïse de Camondo (1860-1935), a passionate collector of decorative arts. The museum preserves furniture, paintings, carpets, tapestries, porcelain and French silverware from the eighteenth century. It offers access to the intimacy of a period residence and the collections of a family marked by twentieth-century history. The museum is currently closed for renovations and is scheduled to reopen in 2030.
