The Gergovie Museum is an archaeological museum located on the Gergovie plateau, in La Roche-Blanche in Puy-de-Dôme. It is dedicated to the Battle of Gergovie in 52 BC, a confrontation between the Arverni leader Vercingetorix and the Roman army of Julius Caesar. Over 600 m² of exhibition space, the museum offers an immersive approach combining archaeological remains, scale models, maps and audiovisual content. The site also provides access to several observation points on the plateau, allowing visitors to place the tactical and strategic stakes of the battle in its geographical and historical context. The museum regularly offers temporary exhibitions and guided tours.
