The Henri-Lecoq Museum is a natural history museum located in Clermont-Ferrand since 1873. Established in the former private mansion of Henri-Lecoq, it presents the collections from his bequest, enriched and preserved for over a century. The museum explores the natural heritage of the territory through its collections of animals, plants, rocks and fossils, and examines the history of sciences and techniques. In addition to its permanent exhibitions, it offers temporary exhibitions, workshops and guided tours each year designed to develop an appreciation for science and sensitivity to the natural environment. The site also includes an educational and pleasure garden. The museum welcomes all audiences and offers a program of school activities tailored to students.
