The ethnography and folk arts museum and maritime museum of Honfleur is a municipal establishment. Located on Quai Saint-Étienne, near the Vieux-Bassin, it presents collections relating to maritime history and the daily life of the region's inhabitants over the centuries. The museum particularly documents the heritage of fishing and the maritime world of Honfleur, as well as local ways of life and popular traditions. It is part of a group of four museum institutions that the city of Honfleur dedicates to the transmission of its cultural and historical heritage.
