The Museum of Art and History of Cap de Gascogne is located in the Convent of the Jacobins in Saint-Sever, in the Landes. It is situated in a rural area and develops its collections around three main themes: Gallo-Roman remains presented in the Paul Dubedat wing, the heritage of the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Sever with plaster casts of capitals, and a documentary collection relating to the medieval manuscript Beatus. The museum is open to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from April to October, as well as during the school holidays of spring, summer, and All Saints' Day.
