The Bernard d'Agesci Museum is a museum located in Niort, in Deux-Sèvres. Inaugurated in June 2006, it occupies a building designed by architect Georges Lasseron. The museum was created from the desire to bring together in a single multidisciplinary site the collections previously displayed in separate institutions: the natural history museum and the Fine Arts Museum of the city. With an educational and generalist approach, the museum offers themed visits, activities for children and hosts temporary exhibitions. It also has a restoration workshop and offers space rental for associations and businesses.
