Musée Alfred Douet

The Alfred Douët Museum is an art and history museum located in Saint-Flour, in Cantal. It occupies a Renaissance-style consular house, a restored historic monument, which itself constitutes an element of local heritage. The collections bear witness to daily life and domestic practices of ancient periods, notably through furniture objects and various utensils. The museum is managed by the Caisse d'Epargne d'Auvergne et du Limousin Business Foundation for Art, Culture and History. It offers a tour through the different rooms of the residence, complemented by temporary thematic exhibitions.
