Ambleteuse · Pas-de-Calais · Hauts-de-France

The 39-45 Museum is a history museum dedicated to World War II, located in Ambleteuse in the Pas-de-Calais, between Calais and Boulogne-sur-Mer. Over 800 m², it offers an evocation of the global conflict, from the campaign in Poland to Japan's surrender. The collections include more than 120 fully equipped soldier mannequins presented in realistic scenarios, as well as several thousand historical objects. The museum also has a cinema room decorated in the style of the 1940s, where filmed archives are shown, notably depicting the Normandy landing and the liberation of Paris.
