The Centre for the History of Resistance and Deportation (CHRD) is a museum established in Lyon since 2003. It is dedicated to the history of the Second World War, with particular emphasis on the Lyon experience between 1939 and 1945. The museum traces testimonies of life during wartime, persecutions and the Holocaust, as well as resistance and repression. Symbolically housed in the former headquarters of the Gestapo in Lyon, the museum offers rich documentation and collections regularly enhanced by temporary and permanent exhibitions. It also provides educational resources, lectures, and access to online collections.
