The Avesnois Ecomuseum is organized around two exceptional industrial sites: the Glass Workshop-Museum in Trélon and the Museum of Textiles and Social Life in Fourmies, in the Nord (Hauts-de-France) region. Its collections cover glass, textile and automotive heritage, complemented by photographic and ethnographic collections documenting the region's industrial history. The institution offers permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as introductory courses in glassmaking techniques and mediation workshops. It is committed to the transmission and preservation of intangible heritage linked to the territory's traditional industries.
