Musée de la Cour des Potiers
Ferrière-la-Petite · Nord · Hauts-de-France
The Museum of the Potters' Court, located in Ferrière-la-Petite in Avesnois (Nord), is dedicated to the history of local ceramics and earthwork from the 18th century to the present day. It presents collections of fine earthenware and salt-glazed stoneware, as well as a historic bottle kiln testifying to the village's craft heritage. The museum functions as a living space, combining permanent exhibitions and practical workshops open to the public: wheel-throwing, hand-modeling and ceramic production. Managed by the association Terre Art et Traditions, it also offers festive activities and educational workshops. The museum shop sells pottery creations, permanent and new collections.
