Pierre et Lumière is a sculpture museum set up in a troglodyte site in Saumur, in Maine-et-Loire. It presents around twenty sculptures carved in tuffeau stone, a material characteristic of the region. These reproductions represent the main architectural monuments of the Loire Valley, offering a discovery of the Loirian and Saumur heritage through an underground route. The site is the result of collaboration between a designer passionate about regional architecture and an internationally renowned sculptor. This miniature park constitutes a unique approach to promoting the architectural heritage of the Loire Valley, combining contemporary sculpture with the historical geological context of Anjou.
