The Jean-Lurçat and Contemporary Tapestry Museum is an Angers institution dedicated to contemporary tapestry. Located in Angers in Maine-et-Loire, it is part of the Angers Museums ensemble, which brings together seven establishments and more than 50,000 works. The museum has been part of the French Museums network since 2002. Its collections and temporary exhibitions emphasize contemporary textile creation and its relationship with tapestry traditions, notably through partnerships with other institutions such as the International Tapestry Center in Aubusson. The establishment regularly offers exhibitions and activities designed for different audiences.
